In accordance to our basic principle of “pursuing peace, respecting humanity and contributing to local communities, centered on our customers”, AEON Group has created several meaningful social activities in Vietnam, namely:

– Tree planting: Before the Grand Opening of every our Shopping Malls, we cooperate with the local to plant trees which are suitable for the local environment.

From 2010 to 2012, AEON Environmental Foundation has planted a total of 70,000 trees in Hue province, Vietnam. From 2014, AEON has cooperated with local authority to organize annual tree planting in Ba Vi National Park, Hanoi. Two below pictures were taken in Tree planting happen on March 21st 2015 in Ba Vi National Park, Hanoi, we and 600 Vietnamese and Japanese volunteers planted 5000 saplings.

– Educational plans:

Building school plan: Within 3 years (from 2010 to the end of 2012), we built 30 schools with full educational facility in Thua Thien Hue province.

Awarding scholarships: With the purpose of enhancing the relationship between Japan and countries in Asia, together, hoping for peace for all nations, AEON had awarded scholarship to students who have outstanding achievement.

Youth ambassador program in Vietnam: is a program that exchange students between Japan and Vietnam, focusing on social and historical activities, exchanges, ambassador activities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
