On August 8, 2015, the Tree Planting Ceremony “AEON Hometown Forest” took place successfully at AEON MALL Long Bien Shopping Mall.
The ceremony attracted the participation of 1,000 people including the leaders of the City People’s Committee, representatives of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in Vietnam, representatives of AEON MALL Shopping Center, residents and students around the shopping mall.
All people together planted 5,000 trees in 30 plots around to contribute to creating a green ecosystem for the locality.
This is an annual activity of AEON Group with the name “AEON Hometown Forest”, which was first implemented in 1992 in Japan.
