During the 7 days from October 25 to November 1, the program recorded the support as below:
At donation boxes and shopping mall’s stores:
- Amount of money: 18,255,700 VND
- Amount of items: more than 2600 pieces of used clothes, 50 warm blankets, other utensils (kitchenware, socks, books, instant noodles…)
On November 13, 2020, AEON Group and AEON 1% Club Fund gave emergency donation gifts to the Central people through the Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives (SCDI) with the support assistance from local authorities and related agencies.The gift package includes an amount of about 1.6 billion VND and items such as clothes, warm blankets, kitchen utensils… with the love of customers, partners, AEON 1% club fund, companies and employees of AEON group to people in the Central area.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki – General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam sent a message from AEON Group to share the difficulties of the people of Central Vietnam and hoped that people would soon overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and regenerate livelihoods for development in the future.
Ms. Khuat Thi Hai Oanh – Director of SCDI expressed her sincere gratitude toward customers, partners, employees and AEON Group for showing the empathy with people of Central Vietnam during the historic disaster. As soon as receiving support from AEON Group, in the same week, SCDI sent gifts to people in Quang Nam, Quang Tri and ensured it would be delivered to people in other localities which were affected by flood in the shortest time.
Hopefully, the affection of people all over Vietnam will bring a little warmth to the people of Central Vietnam.
