Following the instruction from Directive No. 11/CD-UBND issued by Hanoi People’s Committee on drastic implementation of measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic in the area, AEON MALL Long Bien has been suspending the operation of booths, entertainment businesses, cinemas, as well as on-site food services since May 26.
At AEON MALL Long Bien, epidemic prevention and control measures is divided into several procedures and closely follow the direction of Hanoi People’s Committee to ensure that the safety of not only customers but also employees of the shopping center is a top priority.
To make it clearer, in terms of the internal operation department, all employees are required to submit medical declaration, disinfect their hands, wear masks, check their temperature before entering and leaving the center. This also applies to all tenants and their employees must self-isolate at home after returning from risk areas in accordance with the regulations of the People’s Committee of Long Bien District and the People’s Committee of Hanoi City.
Regarding shopping areas, AEON MALL Long Bien has been applying strict preventive measures against COVID-19 such as checking temperature, requiring customers to wear masks, implementing social distancing and 5K rules issued by the Ministry of Health. The shopping area is disinfected twice a day, and contact surfaces including tables, chairs, trolleys, etc. are frequently cleaned with disinfectants to reduce the risk of cross-contamination in the shopping center.
